Working for a high-profile sports betting and gaming company which is expanding rapidly in the US market, the Consumer Product Manager / Senior Product Owner role involves owning and prioritising the roadmap of consumer facing initiatives and improvements, while managing senior stakeholder relationships.
The Consumer Product Manager / Senior Product Owner is a high impact role where you’ll determine what should be prioritised and lead a squad to build/execute. Your work will be seen by millions of consumers across the US market.
The Consumer Product Manager / Senior Product Owner will:
-Work closely with the US team; marketing and content, commercial, design, tech and insight to deliver the roadmap, inclusive of features, performance and innovation.
-Build a deep understanding of our customers and their needs, while remaining at the forefront of current and emerging technologies.
-Be involved in small to large-scale projects from the earliest discovery stages through design, development, test, release and measurement.
-Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and manage change in relation to specified requirements, including assessment of impact, communication, and supporting planning and prioritisation as appropriate
-Continuous improvement of the product, identifying and prioritising improvements and enhancements
-Ensure UX is ‘best in class’ through customer experience optimisation and multivariate testing frameworks.
Candidates for the Consumer Product Manager / Senior Product Owner role must have:
-Previous product management experience in a consumer facing market, such as eCommerce, Retail, Travel, Holidays, Hospitality, Media, Entertainment, finance, etc.
-Strong stakeholder management experience with comfort pushing back and saying ‘no’. You’ll work with the Head of Product to set the strategy, but you’ll be shaping the roadmap and prioritising based on commercial ROI.
-A keen eye for design and useability
-Experience working with an agile team, and of agile product development
-Delivery focused with attention to detail
-A proven champion of the customer experience
-Ability to be flexible and organised with a product backlog and multiple inflight products, stories or feature developments
-Motivated, passionate and proactive about delivery of value to the business and customer
-Knowledge of basic user testing principals for A/B and MVT
-Experience managing a product backlog, detailing and presenting user stories
-Ideally an interest in/passion for Sports
