Interim Chief Marketing Officer / Interim Marketing Director
We’re looking for an Interim Chief Marketing Officer / Interim VP Marketing / Interim Marketing Director to create a joined-up growth strategy for an innovative, digital-focused consumer services business, and lead a global marketing team of 17 to execute the plan, before handing over to a permanent replacement. Listed as one of the UK’s top 100 fastest growing tech brands, the Marketing Director / VP Marketing / Chief Marketing Officer would have the opportunity to supercharge growth and customer conversion.
Our client has multiple product sets and targets consumers in the UK, the US, India and the Gulf region.
The Interim Chief Marketing Officer / Interim Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns, manage all marketing operations, which includes improving current initiatives and formulating new strategies to support growth and increase across multiple brands.
This is a 6 month interim assignment, hybrid-London (1-2 DPW in the office), and is INSIDE IR35.
The Interim Chief Marketing Officer / Interim Marketing Director will:
* Design marketing strategies to support the company’s strategies, objectives, and unique identity to grow revenue and scale marketing efforts for domestic and international customers.
* Define and adapt the company’s addressable market, segment it and define the go to market strategy.
* Set marketing objectives and goals and report on performance to CEO.
* Drive an organic growth strategy leveraging key assets such as SEO, content, and referral.
* Oversee and manage all the company’s PR, content marketing and other communication releases.
* Work closely with the company’s CEO, and Senior Leadership Team, to assist in the launch of new products and assisting with the growth of existing products.
* Build, mentor and manage a high performing marketing team, designing and implementing marketing campaigns and user engagement strategies to accelerate the development of the brand and continuously measure the effectiveness of such projects.
* Drive a culture of constant learning, analysis and testing to innovative ways to grow revenue and scale marketing efforts.
* Responsible for P&L or acquisition costs for marketing.
The Interim Chief Marketing Officer / Interim Marketing Director must have:
* Strong experience in a marketing leadership role at a high growth consumer / B2C / D2C company, from any sector, such as eCommerce, travel, media, entertainment, hospitality, education, fintech, heathtech, etc.
* Very strong experience building a high performing performance marketing team, targeting consumers globally.
* Experience managing teams of 10+ people.
* Proven track record of leading and effectively scaling a marketing function through a period of rapid growth
* Designed high performing marketing systems, processes, and automation
* Track record of consistently exceeding goals and revenue targets
* Understanding of market research and data analysis methods
* Data and results driven
* Ability to both manage and be hands-on when needed
* Strong foundation of marketing experience and a passion for continuous growth and learning
