Working for a category leading consumer product organisation that has a very successful global trade & wholesale business, the eCommerce Director / Head of eCommerce / eCommerce Lead role involves building and scaling a D2C eCommerce business, in the UK, EU and globally.
They manufacture and sell high value premium products that consumers love. They’re profitable and are looking to 10x their D2C channel as part of a strategy to double their group revenue within 3 years.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week at their north Derbyshire offices.
The eCommerce Director / Head of eCommerce / eCommerce Lead will:
As eCommerce division leader, build the D2C/eCommerce business strategy and roadmap, leading a small team to execute and deliver growth.
Develop the eCommerce team growth plan, adding the right skills to build a world class eCommerce capability.
Oversee all eCommerce traffic generation across digital, performance marketing and any relevant offline channels.
Own the onsite eCommerce experience, testing and optimising the user experience purchase journey (CRO) to drive conversion.
Take a data led approach to build an understanding of the customer and customer segments.
Oversee fulfilment and fulfilment experience, working with a central operations team.
Manage stakeholder relationships across the business.
Candidates for the eCommerce Director / Head of eCommerce / eCommerce Lead role must have:
Strong eCommerce experience including digital marketing and all aspects of eCommerce trading and merchandising.
Candidates may come from any product category, such as fashion, homeware, white goods, cosmetics & personal care, furniture, automotive, etc.
Strong communication and stakeholder management experience, ability to articulate a business case and strong influencing skills.
Any experience selling via marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc) is an advantage but is not essential.
