VP Product Management Fraud / Online Fraud Strategy Manager / Product Director – Fraud needed to run product division of major Payments organisation. This role involves developing and executing strategy for Fraud Products and setting direction for the department.
The VP Product Management Fraud / Online Fraud Strategy Manager / Product Director – Fraud role involves owning the product roadmap and strategy for verification and Fraud management products which ultimately reduces incidence of online fraud across all European territories.
The VP Product Management Fraud / Online Fraud Strategy Manager / Product Director – Fraud will continually evolve the Fraud, Risk and verification products to minimise fraud and opportunities for Fraud; develop initiatives to combat fraud; manage relationships with third parties including member banks; work with a range of teams including product management, user interface, user experience, customer support, Sales and Customer Relationship Management to develop and deliver programs; analyse and monitor metrics to identify opportunities to improve process and the customer experience and ultimately work to maximise the customer experience by reducing incidences of Fraud.
Other responsibilities are to develop the risk management strategy; develop risk modelling, risk analysis practises and risk management frameworks to analyse, benchmark and quantify risks (with the support of highly skilled data and analytical teams) and analyse different types of risk (financial risks and liabilities; risk associated with fraud; credit risk; payment risk; operational business process risk; risks associated with commercial partnerships and risks created by changes in policy and strategy, etc).
Candidates for the VP Product Management Fraud / Online Fraud Strategy Manager / Product Director – Fraud role must have previous experience in a senior risk management role, ideally in an e-commerce, retail, online payments, retail financial services / retail banking or similar industry; excellent experience within Product Management/Development and have a strong knowledge of the payments landscape and experience of managing Fraud.
Strong communication skills are critical to communicate across a large European matrix organisation and work with executive level stakeholders. European languages are an advantage but are not essential. An MBA and Risk Management qualifications (ICRM, IDRM, FIRM, MIRM, CIRM, etc) is desirable, or equivalent experience.
