Interim Senior Marketing Manager B2B
Working for a financial software vendor that provides payment analysis technology Tier 1 & 2 global banks, the Interim Senior Marketing Manager B2B / Senior Demand Generation Manager / AMB Marketing Manager role involves planning and executing a roadmap of account based marketing (AMB) and demand generation / lead generation activities to engage customers and drive top of funnel activity.
The client sells high value software solutions with a 12 months sales cycle to the banking sector. They’ve been successful at direct sales and this will be their first demand generation person, so you’ll very much set up the campaign environment and execute hands-on (with support from a content/creative agency for copy & asset design, plus a data analyst).
This is a fully remote (UK) 6 month contract role and is OUTSIDE IR35. There will be once-monthly trips to meet team members in Europe (one overnight per month).
The Interim Senior Marketing Manager B2B / Senior Demand Generation Manager / AMB Marketing Manager will:
– Build a roadmap of demand generation activities such as campaigns, webinars, content marketing, events etc, targeting tier 1 and tier 2 global banks
– Work with internal stakeholders and a third-party agency to develop white papers, case studies, thought leadership materials and other collateral
– Produce collateral, pitch decks and sales materials to support sales teams
– Be hands-on and take ownership of all campaign activity, driving performance to generate inbound top-of-funnel sales leads and opportunities
– Collaborate with sales teams to track and assess lead quality
– Work with internal and external stakeholders where required
Candidates for the Interim Senior Marketing Manager B2B / Senior Demand Generation Manager / AMB Marketing Manager role must have:
– Strong demand generation experience with high value enterprise software, with a long sales cycle (6 months plus)
– Experience of the banking sector, payments or fintechs, ideally an understanding of the SWIFT banking system. Ideally you’ve worked for a tech, software or payments vendor selling into banks.
– Experience of Account Based Marketing activities, events, webinars and content marketing.
– Strong comfort with data, to target and optimise all campaign activity
– Excellent communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
6 Months contract – £400 – £450 day – Fully remote UK
