We have a new job opportunity for a Mobile App Engagement Manager / Mobile App Marketing Manager / Mobile App Growth Manager to join a business that is home to some of the most loved brands across sectors like hobbies, local news, and ancestry. You will join their expanding team & help to grow the user engagement, retention & monetisation across the mobile app portfolio.
This is a permanent, full-time hybrid position, with the flexibility to work remotely or from the London or Scotland office. You will report to the Senior Engagement Manager & work closely with the CRM team to develop user engagement strategies across multiple apps.
The Mobile App Engagement Manager / Mobile App Marketing Manager / Mobile App Growth Manager will:
- Develop comprehensive mobile app engagement strategies to increase user activity, retention, and monetisation.
- Manage the full user lifecycle (onboarding, retention, re-engagement) using in-app messaging and email marketing.
- Analyse user behaviour and performance metrics (e.g., retention rates, session duration, DAU/MAU) to optimise app performance.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to ensure app content aligns with user preferences.
- Create and execute effective push notification strategies to engage and re-engage users.
- Conduct A/B testing to improve user experience, UI/UX, and overall app performance.
- Work with specialists to drive revenue through subscriptions, in-app purchases, and advertising strategies.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging mobile app technologies.
The Mobile App Engagement Manager / Mobile App Marketing Manager / Mobile App Growth Manager should have:
- 1-2+ years of marketing experience
- A data-driven mindset
- Experience in app engagement or CRM roles is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies, with experience using tools like Looker.
- Proficiency with app and CRM platforms (e.g., Iterable, Braze, Firebase, Hubspot).
- Demonstrated success with A/B testing and optimisation methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Experience in B2C digital products, ideally with a focus on hobbies or subscription-based products, is a bonus.
