Product Owner (B2B SAAS) / Technical Product Manager (Renewable Energy Software)

Working for a rapidly scaling SAAS software vendor in the global renewables energy space, the Product Owner (B2B SAAS) / Technical Product Manager (Renewable Energy Software) role involves working with an experienced VP Product and Senior Product Manager to deliver a new modular software platform that monitors and drives performance of renewable energy assets.

The Product Owner (B2B SAAS) / Technical Product Manager (Renewable Energy Software) is a broad and exciting opportunity where you’ll Lead scrum team as the Product Owner to prioritise and execute the roadmap.

The role will be home based initially, reverting to part office based at their Nottingham global HQ when safe to do so.

The Product Owner (B2B SAAS) / Technical Product Manager (Renewable Energy Software) will:
-Lead scrum team as the Product Owner
-Create a shared understanding within the development team of the vision for the product.
-Turn designs into requirements/stories with clear descriptions and acceptance criteria. Manage and prioritising the product backlog in-line with business strategy.
-Form and communication success criteria/metrics.
-Assist with the creation of high-level product designs, user flows and business models.
-Collaborate with UI/UX team to run customer UX testing and recording structured feedback. Be the voice of the customer in sprint planning meetings and negotiating clear sprint goals with development team.
-Run sprint review/demo meetings with all key stake holders
-Keep product roadmaps up to date and communicating progress to the wider business
-Champion the product within the wider organisation.
-Produce documentation/manuals and providing software training to customers and sales.
-Deliver go-to-market support for sales and marketing teams (e.g. demos and collateral)

Candidates for the Senior Product Manager (B2B SAAS) / Technical Product Manager / Product Lead Renewable Energy Software role must have:

-Experience as a product owner / product manager in a B2B SAAS environment from any industry sector.
-An understanding and interest in agile product development
-Confidence presenting complex ideas to a general and technical audience
-Ideally Degree educated from a redbrick university
-Solid and repeatedly demonstrated problem solving abilities and evidence of the use of analytical skills to determine future actions and assess past decisions.
-Demonstrable ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision to deliver high quality work in a timely manner.
-Strong project management skills are required to ensure that products are delivered on time, to budget and to agreed levels of quality.
