We need a Senior Product Designer to help with a global checkout re-design for a well know consumer travel/entertainment brand. This is a key area of the experience where ancillary add-on sales are optimised and it will involve working with stakeholders across a number of teams and partners.
This is a 6-month contract and is INSIDE IR35. The role is hybrid London with Wednesdays in the London office, with some flexibility.
The Senior Product Designer will:
– Use core information architecture and interaction design skills to take product design deliverables through a full project lifecycle
– Conduct user/market, usability and competitive design research
– Identify user types, scenarios, journeys, flow/decision maps and produce relevant documentation to convey this vision
– Participate and/or lead ideation workshops with cross-functional teams
– Generate wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and/or other required design artefacts with minimal supervision
– Ensure brand identity is considered and integrated into all features and ensure the logical user flow is translated into an intuitive and stylish experience
– Conduct internal QA tests to ensure deliveries meet initial design specifications
– Work with the Analytics and product management teams to make measurable UX decisions
– Collaborate with other product designers in maintaining the Global Design System
– Understand the long-term vision and strategic business goals of the department
– Contribute to the usability testing process for both moderated and unmoderated sessions
– Work with representatives from our different markets to ensure regional requirements are met while still adhering to our global design requirements
– Consider localisation and translations when proposing global design solutions
Candidates for the Senior Product Designer role must have
– Strong product design experience in any large consumer facing environment, such as travel, eCommerce, holidays, airlines, car hire, groceries, media entertainment, fintech, etc.
– Strong visual design experience.
– A structured approach to approaching and solving design problems.
– Any experience of checkout experience is an advantage.
