Overview:
The Digital Marketing Analyst is responsible for analysing data from Digital Marketing campaigns, providing insights, and making recommendations to improve performance. The role involves working with various stakeholders to track, measure, and optimise marketing activities across channels, including social media, search engines, email and websites.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
Analyse digital marketing campaign performance, website traffic, and other key metrics using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Reporting:
Create clear and actionable reports and dashboards to communicate campaign performance to stakeholders.
SEO and SEM Analysis:
Monitor and evaluate website performance, providing recommendations to improve search rankings and paid search ROI.
Campaign Optimisation:
Provide insights to improve targeting, conversion rates, and user engagement across digital platforms.
A/B Testing:
Conduct experiments to test marketing strategies and identify best-performing practices.
Competitor Analysis:
Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing teams, designers, and developers to implement strategies and improve marketing performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Degree in marketing, data analytics, business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
Marketing Knowledge:
Understanding of PPC, email marketing, social media and Content Marketing.
Analytical Thinking:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
Project Management:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Desired Experience:
- Experience working in digital marketing or a similar analytical role.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript (desirable but not essential).
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
