eCommerce Manager

Salary expectations: £50,000 – £70,000

An eCommerce Manager oversees the strategic direction and daily operations of an online sales channel. The main objective is to drive revenue growth and profitability by managing the online store or platform efficiently. Responsibilities include developing eCommerce strategies, optimising user experience, managing products and inventory, executing digital marketing campaigns, reviewing metrics, and collaborating with teams to achieve business goals. 
 

Head of eCommerce

Salary expectations: £90,000 – £110,000

This Head of eCommerce role is often a transition from managing an eCommerce site to managing the people within the eCommerce team, giving them the direction to do their jobs effectively. This level often has full profit and loss responsibility, defining the strategy and leading teams across all eCommerce touchpoints including online, digital and CRM, ensuring continued growth.
 

eCommerce Director

Salary expectations: £110,000 – £170,000
 
An eCommerce Director will be responsible for all aspects of the strategic plan. They should deliver the best customer experience by managing teams across sales, marketing, and technology to success. There will be particular emphasis on the eCommerce website, driving traffic through promotional campaigns and content, whilst optimising the sales conversion funnel.
 

Vice President eCommerce

Salary expectations: £130,000 – £250,000

The VP eCommerce is responsible for setting the eCommerce vision and overall direction of the multi-functional teams within the business. Similarly, to the Director, the VP needs to ensure all teams understand the company’s goals and objectives, allowing them to create campaigns to drive traffic, conversions and ultimately profit for the business. The VP will need to execute full lifecycle project management on eCommerce projects, selecting vendors and managing relationships for success.
